Target Audience for this Training
The IS-003, IS-031, and IS-032 training courses are designed for personnel who professionally operate rigid or rotating telehandlers in industrial environments, business parks, construction sites, or petrochemical facilities. These courses are intended for operators who need to lift, move, and position loads at a distance or height, often in confined spaces, under time pressure, near critical installations, or in areas with mixed pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This applies to operators working with rigid telehandlers, as well as personnel operating rotating telehandlers for more complex maneuvers, and users of rotating telehandlers with hoisting functions, which also require handling suspended loads, lifting activities, and precision work amidst obstacles. These courses are suitable for both novice and experienced operators, provided they are at least 18 years of age and medically fit for a safety-critical role.
Legal Framework for This Training:
These training courses fall under Belgian legislation concerning mobile work equipment (Codex on Well-being at Work – Book IV). Employees are only permitted to operate a telehandler if they have completed adequate and demonstrable training for this purpose.
IS-003, IS-031, and IS-032 are recognized BESACC-VCA high-risk tasks, meaning that both theoretical and practical assessments are required according to established criteria.
For rotating telehandlers (IS‑031), and especially telehandlers with lifting functions (IS‑032), additional requirements apply concerning stability, load charts, outrigger deployment, lifting equipment, and safe operation.
Upon successful completion, the participant receives a personal certificate valid for 5 years.

Important information regarding online training courses:
For every online course, the practical component must be reserved separately. Upon reservation and/or inquiry, we will provide you with the correct information and availability. Without a properly booked practical component, the certificate will not be valid. Each participant must register via our website at least 2 days in advance. This registration is mandatory for attendance tracking and for the timely receipt of all resources provided during the training.
To participate in the online training course, each trainee must possess:
- A valid email address
- A device with an internet connection (a large-screen device is recommended, as smartphone screens are typically too small to adequately view the course content).
- A functional webcam.
The webcam must remain active throughout the entire session to ensure participants' presence and engagement in the training. During specific examination periods, a screen share may also be requested.
The practical session can be easily scheduled via email or telephone.
