Target Audience for this Training
This training program is ideal for all organizations legally mandated to implement fire safety measures and seeking to prepare employees for a rapid, safe initial response to fire incidents. It specifically targets:
- All employees who must be capable of extinguishing incipient fires using small extinguishing agents.
- Members of the initial response team responsible for primary actions during fire, smoke development, or evacuation.
- Prevention advisors, facility managers, and safety officers who are responsible for legal compliance and internal emergency procedures.
- Manufacturing companies, logistics centers, offices, healthcare institutions, schools, and government agencies where fire risks are present.
- VCA-certified companies and organizations operating according to ISO standards or international safety standards.
Admission Requirements for this Training:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be medically fit.
- Proficiency in the language of this training is required. (This course is available in NL, FR, and ENG – other languages are available upon request)
- Valid identification (ID card or driver's license)
Course Content
- Fire Theory: Fundamental knowledge of fire ignition and propagation.
- Types of Fire Extinguishing Agents: various types of extinguishing agents and their applications.
- Use of Small Extinguishing Agents: theoretical principles for the correct application of extinguishing agents.
- Evacuation Procedures: Steps and protocols for the safe evacuation of a building or structure.
- Role of the Initial Response Team: duties and responsibilities of the response team during an incident.
- Communication and Alerting: Effective communication during an emergency and alerting emergency services
- Practical Exercises
Practical Section:
The practical component involves conducting an evacuation and utilizing extinguishing equipment (ranging from small extinguishing equipment to operating a fire hose)
Practical requirements for participants:
- Safety Footwear
- Identification document
Participants who do not possess these items will be unable to attend.
Our organization does not provide PPE.
Practical requirements for clients:
This training is exclusively available on-site
We provide a fire extinguishing container equipped with all necessary extinguishing equipment. The client will be responsible for water supply (potentially a fire hose if available on site and usable)
On-site Training:
- The client must provide the following:
- A training room equipped with an internet connection and electrical power supply.
- A monitor or projector; if these are not available, we can provide them.

We provide the online classroom. As a client, you are responsible for providing participants with a device and an internet connection.
Important information regarding online training courses:
For every online training course, the practical component must be reserved separately. Without a correctly booked practical component, the certificate will not be valid. Each participant must register via our website at least 2 days in advance. This registration is mandatory for attendance tracking and for the timely receipt of all resources provided during the training.
To participate in the online training course, each trainee must possess:
- A valid email address
- A device with an internet connection (a large-screen device is recommended, as smartphone screens are typically too small to adequately view the course content).
- A functional webcam.
The webcam must remain active throughout the entire session to ensure participants' presence and engagement in the training. During specific examination periods, a screen share may also be requested.
